You should have an interest in naval history and tradition,be prepared to attend functions and displays across the country and accept a disciplined ethos. Any engineering skills would be a bonus. However full training on naval gunnery would be given. You should provide yourself with any kit that the team deem suitable for the tasks that you undertake. This option is open to men and women. (30% of the gun crew are women).

The group are a well integrated team who have in some cases been together for 12 years. We have a very active social side to our displays. Whereas we do have ex naval personel in our group,we also have a variety of people from other backgrounds. Including a steam locomotive driver,a miner,radiographer and even a policeman.
